Elation

I'm like sooo happy now.. coz like i've been like soo blessed .... really man... it's like soo cool. i mean kewl. i don't even like know where to like start.

K. First, i heard the news that i'll be able to leave on the 1st of Jan, and not 29th of dec! That means i'll be at Thanksgiving! Woohoo! Thanks to my Mom.. She bought a new ticket for me... must have cost her a bomb. Thanks Mom!
Then, my cool uncle Richard gave me a 5.0 megapixel digicam for Christmas, and my brother a creative zen micro, white one. Not only that, my cousin handed me 200 bucks in cash. So i'm like... wow. Thats not all though. Many ppl know i got a new com last week. Haha. Talk about blessing. Wait there's more, my parents went to malaysia, and bought me a Diesel shirt, a pair of black Diesel jeans and a really cool white Diesel Belt. And yes, they are real! And these are presents only from my family! Man this reminds me of the song One Day by Hillsongs.

So Blessed, i can't contain it
So Much i gotta give it away
Your Love has taught me to live now
You are more than enough for me!

I've recieved great gifts from my friends as well! A cool cap, a cool pair of slippers, a cool shirt, and quite a few cool pairs of boxer shorts just to name a few. So as you can see, i've been really blessed. By God, through man. Wow what a wonderful testimony!

I attended the JAMs church service on Sunday to help out as a volunteer. Man was it an experience. FYI JAMs stands for Jesus For all Minds, and is a church for the interlectually-handicapped. My job was to usher the people to their seats in the main hall. Easy right? Wrong. It was tough! Many of the JAMs members had difficulty walking, and thus required assistance down the steps. Some couldn't even control their actions! They would suddenly swing their arm at you unintentionally and if you were not alert, you'd get smacked. Some of them were very young, and were very hyper. They'd run to and fro, screaming and laughing. Others were quite elderly, but interlectually, they were on par with a normal 10 year old. They would usually be accompanied by a family member or helper.
There was one particular family which really made me feel so.. ugh.. sad. It was 2 sisters, a brother and their grandmother. The 2 girls and the boy were not more than 10 years old, and were all interlectually-handicapped. I noticed them holding hands, walking down the long flight of stairs. The grandmother was having so much difficulty walking on her own, and still had to carry a bag and guide the 3 kids. Man...
They didn't choose to be that way. It wasnt' their fault or a fault of their parents or family members. They were born into that situation. Knowing that makes me feel so .. blessed and fortunate. Sometimes when i wake up i'd notice my complexion had worsen, and i'd be angry and bitter.. i'd question God why i am the only one in my family plagued with acne. But then, seeing these innocent JAMs members, it really made me feel so fortunate. So fortunate to be born 'normal'. So what if i have acne, so what if i wasn't born taller, so what? Many of us are really blessed, but just don't see it. We tend to look at the negatives and dwell in it, then complain to God about our tiny problems. Hey you! You are Blessed! No matter what ppl say, you were in God's mind before you were born! God didn't have some human factory on Jurong Planet to mass produce humans. He made us individually, hand-made! So be grateful, cos he has a purpose for your life, Believe it or not!

Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
